Francis SHEARD 1838 – 1886
Francis was the second son of Francis SHEARD and Catherine Margaret GREEN, born on 28th April 1838 in Sutton on the Forest, Yorkshire. From the IGI we find that he was christened in Sutton on the Forest on the 17th June 1838. At least in later life it appears that he adopted the name of Frank. As has already been seen he appears on the 1841 & 1851 censuses with the rest of the family but by the time of the 1861 census we find him in Glanford Brigg, Lincolnshire employed as a Printer Bookseller & Post Office Clerk.
